Victoria Tiger Tunes in the Community!
Our very own Victoria Tiger Tunes, a very dedicated and talented group of students mentored by Mrs. Westbrook,  had a great deal of fun in the community.  They visited and performed for the elderly at the Emeritus Retirement Center who even requested an encore when they were finished!  They also performed for local Veterans.  Way to go Tigers...you make a huge difference in our community!

WE DID IT! - 30,000 + books read!

Victoria Elementary School began the year setting a goal for reading.  Last year, our students read 21,303 books as recorded by Accelerated Reader.  So we decided to try to BREAK that record.  We set a goal of 30,000 books read and 50,000,000 words read for the year.  And we BEAT IT with more than a MONTH to spare!

Our principals had promised to SHAVE THEIR BEARDS if we met our goal... and, on Monday, May 19, that's exactly what they did!

CLICK HERE to view a slide show of the event.

GREAT READING, Victoria students!

But don't give up yet.  We want to set the record AS HIGH AS WE CAN, so keep reading!

Victoria School would like to thank Eric's Barbershop (of 501 E. Citrus Ave. in Redlands) for donating their time and talents for this AWESOME spectacle.

Site Programs

A Peace Builder School

Our school continues its tradition as an outstanding example of how students representing 18 different cultures and languages are able to successfully work together to grow academically, socially, and emotionally in an atmosphere of high expectations and acceptance.

A Thinking Maps Site

Our school is a Thinking Maps site. Students in all grades use Thinking Maps as a common visual language for learning. There are 8 maps to help students filter and demonstrate their understanding, and each map is linked to a specific thinking process. There is a map for:
* Defining
* Describing
* Ordering
* Comparing & Contrasting
* Classifying
* Analyzing Causes & Effects
* Seeing Parts-to-Whole relationships
* Understanding Analogies.
